Contributing Factors for Turkey Consumption: An Empirical Analysis from Mymensingh City in Bangladesh

The study examined the factors influencing yearly consumption of turkey meat in Mymensingh city area. Data were collected from 60 consumers through Purposive sampling technique and face to interview. Dummy coding was applied code independent variables which categorical nature multiple linear regression carried out find meat. Result indicated that majority (more than 50%) favored taste, color aroma findings also revealed age (P<0.05) monthly family income (P<0.01) significantly among city. major difficulty faced by farmer recognized as unavailability feed market, high price day-old chick, lack access agricultural credit, training marketing facility un-availability vaccines. Analyzing affecting would facilitate decision making process farmers deliver information policy makers Government well Department Livestock Services take necessary initiatives support this alternative source rise a popular consumer choice.
